John Henry McMann Sr., 79, of Boise, Idaho, died at 10:00 AM, Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. He was born May 6, 1934 in Brooklyn New York, to James McMann and Clara Castellani. He married Saundra (Sandy) on November 6, 1982 and she survives.
Also surviving are his four children from his first wife – Dorothy and she survives – Frances Rozanne Phillips of Colorado – John Henry McMann Jr. of New York – Anthony Russell McMann of Colorado – Lora Theresa Smith of California. 3 Granddaughters, 5 Grandsons, 1 Great Granddaughter, 1 Great Grandson.
Also surviving are his 3 Stepsons by his second wife – Sandy – Vince Paul Rosnack of Ohio – Daniel Edward Rosnack of Texas – David Anthony Rosnack of South Carolina. 4 Granddaughters, 1 Grandson, 2 Great Granddaughters and another Grandson due any minute now.
He is also survived by his sister, Dolores Knutson
John was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. He enlisted into the Marine Corps and became an M.P. He was stationed at El Toro Marine Base, El Toro California. He lived in Southern California with his first wife for 18 years. He met and married Sandy in 1982 in California. They moved to Boise Idaho and have been living there for the past 25 years.
He was a proud patriot, loved people, hunting, fishing, camping, WWE wrestling, gambling and roller derby
