John Henry Adams, 66, of Beardstown, IL and formerly of Meredosia, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in Meredosia.
He was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Morehead, KY, the son of Orville and Minnie Parker Adams. He was married to Mitzi Smith and she survives in Meredosia.
He is also survived by his son, Trevor Adams, and his daughter, Linley Adams, both of Meredosia. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob; and two sisters, Helen and Judy.
Early in his life, John was a Chef at the Port of the Islands Resort and Marina in Naples, FL. He then worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed attending church, and was baptized on Nov. 3, 2019, at the Beardstown Church of the Nazarene.
