John Harold Shenning, Jr. age 78 of Newnan passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was born June 15, 1937 in Harford, Ct to the late John Harold Shenning Sr. and Signe Thomsen Shenning. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Shenning of Newnan, GA, Sister, Dorothy Bentley of Epping, NH, three children, Jeanne Shenning, East Providence, RI, Jan Shenning, Jensen Beach, FL, and Jeff Shenning, Newnan, GA and four grandchildren. John was retired from the GW Dahl Co. in Bristol, Rhode Island. He was an active member of Grace Community Fellowship in Newnan, GA. He had a great love for the country and people of Haiti and had taken over 50 short term mission trips there. He had just returned from Haiti when two days later God took him home to be with his Lord and Savior.
