John Gordon McCloud, age 73, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon John McCloud; mother, Marian Antoinette McCartt; son, John McCloud; son-in-law, Les Brown; brother, Lynn McCloud; sisters, Nikki Berg, Arlene Lacey; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sgt. and Mrs. Melvin Berg.
Mr. McCloud is survived by his wife of thirty years, Christiane Berg McCloud of Buford; children, Gordon and Hali McCloud of Hawaii, Amie Brown of Auburn, GA, Susie Edelman of Huntsville, AL, Rita and Michael Wilson of Suwanee, GA, Michelle Wilkerson of Buford; sister, Deborah (Troy) Ross of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, April Lavendar, Ashley Edelman, Michael and Jordan Wilkerson, Isabella and Evan Wilson, Cash Huck, Olive McCloud, Leia McCloud; great-grandchildren, Taylor Lavendar, Layla Totcky; brother-in-law, Ron Lacey; sister-in-law, Anita (Don) Lundkovsky; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. McCloud was born on January 21, 1948, in Pasadena, CA.
He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines and was a retired manager from Dollar Tree. Mr. McCloud was a member of Covenant Connection Church in Flowery Branch, GA. He loved his Oakland Raiders Football Team and playing golf. He adored his grandchildren.
