John Glenn Hall, 71, a great and sincere friend too many of us in Idaho and beyond, died in his home, of natural causes, during the night of September 8.  John was very authentic, a gentleman, kind and thoughtful, and always willing to help others in times of need.  He had the spirit of a true entrepreneur.  As an adult he never held a job outside of his own making and imagination.  Some would say John was more than a bit eccentric, which holds true, but that eccentricity was built on a deep and genuine caring for the earth, family and friends.  Being a part of his large circle of friends was a delightful experience for all who had the honor of being so.   John was born to Glenn and Mildred Hall in Lewiston, Idaho in 1948. He graduated from Lewiston High School and then the University of Idaho with a BS in Physics the spring of 1971.  He then moved to the North End of Boise in the 1970s and lived there until his death.  For the past 40 years, his work focused mostly on video depositions, but his savant and passion were in photography.  He captured people being people with simple technique that became keepsakes for many. Dr. Hallenstein, or Doc, as he was known, enjoyed multiple activities with friends.
