John was a trained engineer with a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy. Beloved father of Gregory, Katherine, and Geoffrey; dear brother of Nanora Sweet; dear grandfather of Megan, Joshua, Emma, Jackson, Owen, Logan, and Maya; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many others. His smile, laughter and song along with his analytical mind and boundless kindness will be greatly missed.
