Honolulu, HI – John G. Syah 48, of Honolulu, HI died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Hawaii.
He was born in Norwich, Ct on July 20, 1964 son of John J. and Marie L. (Coutu) Syah of Norwich. Jay graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in Uncasville, Class of 1982. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norwich. He was active in Boy Scouts in his youth. Jay loved to read, travel and the open air particularly the beach.
In addition to his mother and father Jay is survived by his sister, Jane Marie Syah of Honolulu, HI and his brother and his wife CWO Joseph and Susan Syah of the Netherlands, two nephews Matthew Syah and Nicholas Syah. He was predeceased by a brother James Syah who died August 14, 2004.
