John Frank Hartley, age 89, of New Buffalo, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in Niles, Michigan. John was born August 6, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Mary (Stefanik) Hartley. He married Amelia Alice O’Donnell. They were married for 49 years before her passing in 2003.John will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his children: Judith (Larry) Gaines, Robert (Cindy) Wolavka, John (Becky) Hartley, William (Laura) Hartley; his 14 grandchildren; his many great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.John is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Alice, his brother Joseph and his sister Virginia.
