John F Shearn, 76, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Born in Butler, PA, he lived in Manchester, NJ before moving to Toms River, NJ 32 years ago. John proudly served his country in the United States Marines and worked as a Bus Driver for the Toms River Regional Schools District.
He was also a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous, proudly celebrating 40 years of sobriety. Predeceased by his parents John and Irene (Bush), he is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his daughter Nancy and husband Ronald Sylvester of Toms River, NJ, his brother Joseph (Gerri) of Toms River, NJ, a sister Irene Szuter (Ron) of Hamilton, NJ, and five grandchildren: Ryan, Michael, Rachele, Ronald Jr., and Dylan.
