John D. Feehan John D. Feehan, 83, of Hanover Township, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late MaryAnn H. (Siebert) Feehan, who died in November. Born in Carteret, NJ, he was the son of the late Dorsey D. and Margaret V. (Shufflin) Feehan. He earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of Kentucky and his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from NJIT, Newark. John served in the US Navy on the USS Ranger during World War II and later served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was President of ITT Electron Technology Division for 20 years, retiring in 1986 and also worked for Sperry Rand and Raytheon. John was an active member of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem, where he volunteered in the Elementary School. He was also a member of the International Electrical Engineers and the ABE Airport Board of Directors. He was active in the United Way of the Lehigh Valley and North West Little League. John was a guest lecturer at Lehigh University and an accomplished photographer. Survivors: daughters, Margaret F. “Marbo” Hansen of Wellesley, MA, Susan M. Kinsey of Fogelsville, Karen J. Weiss of Carrollton, GA, and Mary F. Wirth and her husband Jonathan of Pennsylvania Furnace, PA; son, John D. Feehan, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of New Hope; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jack, Rebecca, Paige, Scott, Kevin, Megan, Thomas, Kimberly, Laura and Erin, her husband Justin and their son Caleb.
