John F. Struble, Sr. of Edgewater Park, Passed away on Thursday at the age of 82. John was born in Elizabeth and served his country Honorably in the United States Army for 26 years, retiring in 1979. He then went on to work for the Civil Service Air Force Unit at McGuire AFB for many years. John loved woodworking and was a craftsman.
He could fix most things and enjoyed making things. He also enjoyed taking care of nature by feeding the squirrels and birds in his backyard. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Hildegard (Nee: Mathis) and their children: John F., Jr., and his wife Cynthia, Terry Tracy, Tracy Struble, Kim Pickens; grandchildren: Nicole and Joshua; great-grandchildren: Jackson, Harper, Emerson and a brother Wesley Struble.
