Details: John F. Goebel, 95, a 66 year resident of Pasadena, died April 2 at his residence. Mr. Goebel was born May 30, 1917 in Balt. to the late John F. and Ellen Goebel.   Mr. Goebel worked as a carpenter at the US Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay retiring 1981 after over 15 years of service. Prior to his work at the Coast Guard Yard he was a carpenter with Swift Homes, and in the 30’s and 40’s drove a delivery truck from Cross St. Market in Balt. to area merchants in Md. and the eastern shore. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Club, and in the 50’s and 60’s various bowling leagues at the old Sandusky’s Bowling Lanes. He enjoyed boating on the bay and fishing.   He is survived by his wife of 74 years Naomi H. Goebel, a son Donald W. Goebel of Roaring Spring, Pa., 3 daughters Jan N. Wittig and her husband Oliver of  Severna Park,  Donna J. Lange and her husband Mike of Severna Park, and Cheryl A. Holewinski and her husband Stan of Pasadena, 5 grandchildren Douglas Wittig of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Karen Agee (Ryan) of Millersville, Donald Goebel Jr. of Pa., Susan Korink (Brandon) of England, and Jennifer Lange of Cockeysville, 2 great grandchildren Ben and Brad Agee. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Calvin and Leroy Goebel.
