Obituary of John Eldon Frost
John Eldon Frost, 66, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2017, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. John was born November 27, 1950 to Charles J. and Theresa (Kiley) Frost in Saginaw, MI. John was a Graduate of Carrollton High School, class of 1968. He served in The United States Air Force from 1970-1976. He was a man of many professions over the years, mostly sales and truck driver/package delivery. He was proud to have worked as a Deputy on the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department for 8 years. John was a classic car fanatic and could tell the year, make, model and original color of a vehicle by sight. He was a self-proclaimed history buff and spent many hours researching his own family’s ancestry. He also had a love of animals, especially dogs. John was a kind and gentle soul who will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. He is survived by his son, John C. Frost (Felicia Arizola), daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Shawn LaMere; grandchildren: Austin, Devon, Mia, Olivia, Peyton and Audrey; brother, Charles (Judy) Frost; sister, Marilyn (Mike) Kingsbury; longtime companion, Leslie McQuillan and her son, Ryan; many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Alyce A. Parker; brother-in-law, Ron Parker. The Frost Family wishes to thank the entire Hospice/Palliative Care team at the Saginaw VA Medical Center for their loving and compassionate care.
SERVICE: According to John’s wishes cremation has taken place.
