John Edward Miller, age 74 of Holton, IN passed away, Friday, April 26, 2013 at his home. He was born November 15, 1938 in Batesville, IN . His parents were Louis E. & Carrie Broerman Miller. He married Lula Belle Mary Schmidt on November 30, 1963 & she preceded him in death on March 26, 2005. He then married Peggy Lowry February 24, 2007 & she still survives at home.
MEMBERSHIPS: St. Had served in the Air Force Reserves. Past employee of Cummins Engine Company of Columbus, IN. Member of Ripley County Farm Bureau. Had served as a South Ripley School Board member from 1977-1981. Past member of the Holton Fire Department. John had also been a farmer for many years.
SURVIVORS: Wife: Peggy Lowry Miller of Holton, Sons: Ronald John & wife Lana Miller of Holton, Roger Alan Miller of Holton. Three Step Children: Joanna & husband Dean Retherford of Lafayette, IN, Alex & wife Erin Lowry of Butlerville, IN, Jenny & husband Tracey Van Volkenburgh of Indianapolis, IN.
