John E. Cain, age 81, a native and resident of Mobile, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Cain was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked, as a head supply clerk, for International paper Co. for over 41 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Viola Grimes Cain, a daughter, Beverly Ready, one brother, Paul Cain, Jr., and a grandchild, Melissa Ready Lee. He is survived by a son, Joe (Tracy) Cain, one step son, Wesley (Frances) Miller, one brother Bill Cain, one sister, Paula Cain (Gordon) Lee, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
