John E. McDonald, III, born Sept. 10,1935 in Prichard, Alabama, was called home on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the age of 81. He was a resident of Saraland, Alabama for the past 15 years.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Hayes McDonald, his children John (Deborah) McDonald, IV, Kathy McDonald, Hope (Terry) Henson, and Thomas McDonald, brother Billy McDonald, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
