John E. (Swede) Lindquist, 87, of 400 Blatchley Ave., New Haven, passed away Dec. 6, 2007 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. He was the husband of Josephine Piscitelli Lindquist. “Swede” was born in New Haven Dec. 12, 1919, son of the late Gustaf & Anna Lindquist. Well known throughout the New Haven area, he retired from The UI Co. after 40 years in the Employment Relations Dept.
