J.D. Klump passed to everlasting life with his Lord Jesus Christ on June 7, 2018 at his home surrounded by his close family and friends. J.D. was born in St. Louis Missouri, to Harry and Ruth Klump.
J.D. was a life-long Alamogordo resident with many ties to the community. J.D. relished in coaching all of his children in Basketball, Baseball and Soccer. J.D. was an active member at The Worship Center where he faithfully served. J.D. pursued and succeeded in many entrepreneurial roles. He loved the outdoors and his time working at Bonita Lake. He loved riding his motorcycle. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
J.D. is survived by his wife Debi Klump, his sisters: Judy Montoya, Mary Strickland and her husband Bob, Janice Akers and her husband Bill. His children: Melissa Wallace of Fulton, TX, Jason Klump and his wife Wendy of Artesia, NM, and Kandace Nelson and her husband Conrad of Las Cruces, NM, Jason Lee of Alamogordo, NM, Jerod Lee and his wife Jenny of Jacksonville, FL, Janice Dixon and her husband Jim of Raleigh, NC. , his 10 wonderful and adored grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many cousins, his countless friends, and cherished dogs “The Boys”.
