Dave Rieuf, 70, of Wilmington, formerly of Ottawa, died March 16, 2013 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Dave was born on December 4, 1942, in Streator, to John G. and Emma Marie (Douvia) Rieuf. Dave served in the US Army. He was a lifetime member of American Legion in Wilmington, and was an inventor. Dave is survived by 2 children, Michael (Kari) Rieuf, of Shorewood, and DeAnna (Glen) Meadows, of Channahon, 4 granddaughters, Megan, Mystie, Jayme and Kayli Rieuf and 2 sisters; Idalia Stricklin, and Dorene Pratt, both of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Edward Rieuf and a niece, Meredith Pratt.
