John “Dave” David Kinzie, age 69, of Anita, IA, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Adel Caring Acers in Adel, IA.
John David (Dave) Kinzie was born February 23rd, 1952, to Jacob Tomer (Toby) Kinzie and Ruth Estalene (Estie) Johnson in Anita Iowa. Dave was one of ten children and lived in Anita his whole life. In 1973, Dave married the love of his life Beverly (Bev) Cave of Panora, Iowa. They were inseparable for 28 years until Bev lost her battle with cancer in 2001. In 1974, they were blessed with their first child (Brad) and their second (Chad) in 1980.
Left behind are his sons Brad (Dawn) of Adel, Iowa, Chad (Sheri) of Bondurant, Iowa, 4 grandchildren- Hunter, Beverly, Owen, and Bralynne, 5 siblings- Brenda Cowman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kenny Kinzie of Atlantic, Iowa, Jim (Darnell) Kinzie of Anita, Iowa, Janie Jessen of Glenwood, Iowa, and Bob (Myra) Kinzie of Tabor, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.
