Mr. John Daniel Docherty
(Danny) “Doc”, 57, passed away on Sunday November 21, 2010 in North Arlington.
“Doc” was born in Pittsburgh, PA and has lived in Kearny since 1963. He was a chef at the former Pete’s Place on Passaic Avenue in Kearny for many years. Most recently, he worked at Hartley’s Tavern in North Arlington.
He leaves behind his sister Rosemary Barone and her husband Thomas and their children Thomas and Douglas. He also leaves behind his brother James Docherty and his wife Helen. He was the nephew of Uncle Dan and Aunt Jo from California. He will be missed by many close friends.
He was predeceased by his brother Charles Docherty and his parents John and Rebecca Docherty.
