John Daniel Cashman, 81, of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Saturday January 6, 2018 at his home. John was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ and lived in Wall Twsp., NJ before moving to Berkeley Twsp., NJ in 1996. He attended St. Peter’s Prep and Seton Hall University. John served his country in US Army as a sergeant. He worked in Real Estate, construction and was a fund raiser for the Cancer Society. He caught giant tuna fish from the Manasquan to Gloucester, Mass.. John retired to Berkeley Twsp., NJ .
He is survived by his wife Laraine; his daughter Mary and her husband and two grandchildren and one great grandchild; his son John and four grandchildren; 2 steps sons, one step daughter-in-law and 3 granddaughters; his brother James Cashman and his wife Mary Pat and several nieces and nephews.
