John D Campbell, 61, of Emmett, ID passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family July 10, 2017. He was born in Boise, ID and spent his childhood in Boise and Utah.
John loved the outdoors including camping under the stars, fishing, and bird hunting. He was an electrician in the Treasure Valley since 1978 and would always point out the various buildings that he had wired. His grandchildren were his world and they could always put a smile on his face. He was a loving, caring man that will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
John was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Campbell; mother, Goldie Campbell and nephew Jacob Presnell. He is survived by his clan that includes his wife, Penny; his 7 children, Kira (Brian) Hein, Rebecca (Darren) Mickens, Andrew (Amber) Campbell, Sarah (Jeeson Cha) Campbell, Joey (Kiley) Campbell, Aimee (Patrick) Parker, Bobbi (Richard) Corrigan; 19 Grandchildren with 2 more on the way; a very special friend Bob Scrivner and family; his 7 siblings, Nancy (Ray) Lyon, Steve (Monica) Campbell, Karen (Terry) Sellman, Lisa (Chris) Dennison, Debbie (John) Yrazabal, Susan (Sid) Rose, Jody (Scott) Kaufman and dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
