John D Williams Jr., 75, of Southbury CT, formerly of Milford CT passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014 with his family by his side at Masonicare of Wallingford CT. John was born May 13, 1939 in Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late John D. Williams Sr, and Edna Garrett Williams. He was also the husband of the late Donna Carr Williams. He is survived by his children John D. Williams III of Seymour and Marie Williams Frank of Milford, his sister Joan Martinez of Milford, and Robin Williams, Alissa Williams, and Jason Frank. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and his 4 beautiful grandchildren.
John served with pride and honor in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany. He worked as a manager for A&P Grocery Stores, and most recently for Sikorsky Aircraft.
John enjoyed his past times watching the Uconn Girls play basketball, watching Nascar, and football. He also enjoyed being entertained by his grandchildren.
John was active in many Masonic organizations. He was a Past Master for Ansantawae Lodge #89 in Milford.
Those who knew John will surely remember him as witty with a joke for every occasion. He brought smiles to the faces of anyone who met him. He surely left his mark on this world, which will last for many lifetimes.
