John D. Snow passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Care One in Evesham with his loving wife by his side at the age of 87. John was a longtime resident of Burlington City who retired from U. S. Pipe and Foundry Company in Burlington after 44 years of service. As a young boy John served as an altar boy for Sacred Heart Parish in Mount Holly where he also attended grade school. John later graduated from Burlington City High School and joined the United States Army. While employed at U. S. Pipe, John served many years as President for the local steel workers union.
John enjoyed coaching little league baseball, bowling, camping, vacations at the Jersey shore, gardening, and swimming. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, holding season tickets for many years. John was predeceased by his father and mother, Raymond and Florence Snow, as well as four brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (nee: Sternotti), sons John (friend, Carol) and Alan (Christine), grandchildren Erica Dobson (Timothy), Karli Negrin (Christopher), Crystal Snow, Valene Snow, and Andrew Snow, great-grandchildren Rooke Negrin and Jeremiah Dobson, as well as many friends.
