Born in Sampson Co., he is the son of the late Walter and Mattie Medessa Faison Morrisey.
His love and legacy will be cherished by his devoted wife, Dr. Laura M. Morrisey of the home;two grandchildren;One brother, Pastor Vincent Morrisey (Dorothy) of Forestville, MD; three sisters, Annie Hargrove of Jamaica, NY, Pastor Mary Frazier (James) of Staten Island, NY, and Betty Davis of Capital Heights, MD, neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rev. Morrisey will lie in state at KEMBA Headquarters, 860 N. Pine St. Warsaw, NC on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 1:00-4:30 p.m.
