John D. Moeller, 79, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Born in Jersey City, NJ he moved to Toms River in 1972. John proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 7, 1958 to October 28, 1960 and then established a career as a Car Mechanic and retired from Pep Boys in Toms River.
He was a practitioner of Catholicism, a dedicated member of the Toms River Jaycee’s, an avid bowler, fisherman, and a above all else, a devoted family man. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Gabrielle. Surviving are his loving children Karen C. Casey, Kevin C. Moeller, Patricia A. Moeller, and Donn T. Moeller, his sisters Mary C. Quinn, and Diane E. Smith, as well as five grandchildren; Johnny R. West, Jillian Casey, Jeffrey West, Samantha Casey, and Kelsey Moeller, one great granddaughter, and his newfound extended family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VNA Hospice in his memory.
