John D. Giordano, 49, Anderson, died April 12, 2009 at St. Johns Health System in Anderson. He was born October 20, 1959 in Pompano Beach, Florida, and was raised in Mooresville, moving to the Anderson area in 2001.
He served his country in the US Army from 1978-1982. John was a route driver for FedEx. A member of Heritage Christian Church in Mooresville; he was a Miami Dolphins fan and loved to play computer games with his friends. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Smith Giordano; parents, Linda Neitzel & Paul Williams; grandmother, Betty Neitzel; children, Jason Smith & wife, Michelle and Laura Rhinehart; sisters, Gina & husband, Tom Carter and Charlene & husband, John Craig and Cindy Trinetti; mother-in-law, Louise Whittaker; sisters-in-law, Pam & husband, Don Frazier, Sandy & husband, Mike Haynes and Melanie Smith; grandchildren, Dustin, Wes, Emily, Abbi and Sarah; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Giordano; sister, Lori Ann Giordano and his grandparents.
