John William Cobb Age 86, of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully Friday, October 18, was born on Dec. 14, 1926 in Weir, MS to the late Lacy & Ruth Cobb. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his bothers, Bennie, Tommy Alvin, & Billy Calvin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lora Cobb; son, Byron Cobb, of Birmingham; daughter, Sandra Heflin (Gary), of Birmingham; two brothers, Robert Cobb (Creasie) & David Cobb (Barbara), of Lucedale, MS; sister, Virginia Cobb, of Greenwood, MS; nephews, Larry Jackson, of Greenwood, Randall Cobb (Amy), of Hurley, MS; niece, Linda Smith (Ronny), of Carrollton, MS; numerous great nieces & nephews; grandchildren: Lee Heflin & William Heflin, of Birmingham, AL, Lynn Yousif (Nidal), of Hoover, AL , Loretta Gass (Michael), of Hoover, AL; great grandson, Austin Isbell.
