John was born in Las Vegas, NM to John C. Lust, Sr. and Elva (Herod) Lust. He married Wanda Nadene Lust for 68 years who passed in 2012.
John is survived by his son, Gary K and a sister, Mary Ann Johnson. John was a retired master carpenter, home builder, and artisan. He was a devoted father and husband. Growing up in the Great Depression, he thought of others before himself and continued this to the end never complaining. Truly a remarkable man that will be missed immeasurably.
