Watertown – Mr. John Carangelo, age 71 of Watertown, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 5, 2015 at Village Green Rehabilitation in Bristol, CT.
Mr. Carangelo was born in Waterbury on February 25, 1944 a son to the late Ben and Margaret (Aldi) Carangelo. Mr. Carangelo proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War acheiving the rank of Sergeant.
He attended St. Mary’s School, was a graduate of Crosby High School and Post University and was employed by the State of Connecticut in various positions through out his career. He was a lifelong Yankees Fan and enjoyed gardening and reading.
Mr. Carangelo is survived by a sister Ann O’Brien, brother in law; Lawrence O’Brien, Sr., one nephew:; Lawrence O’Brien, Jr., two nieces; Lauren O’Brien and Kelly O’Brien both of Waterbury, two Grand Nephews; Wil and Lawrence III and also family in New York State.
