John C. Wojtaszek, 50 of New Britain, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. He was born in New Britain, son of Mieczyslaw & Wladyslawa (Szurlej) Wojtaszek. John went to Sacred Heart School through grades K-8 and graduated from E.C. Goodwin Tech. John was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, and spending time at the beach. A loving father, son and brother, he is survived by his son: John C. Wojtaszek, Jr. of Stoewe, VT; his parents: Mieczyslaw & Wladyslawa Wojtaszek of New Britain; his brothers: Mark Wojtaszek and his wife Bogusia of New Britain and Chester Wojtaszek and his wife Monica of Plainville; his sisters: Margaret Urban and her husband Robert of Unionville and Amy Carlson of Plainville; many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts in the US and Poland. John was predeceased by his baby daughter Ocean Helena Wojtaszek and his brother Stanley Wojtaszek.
