John Clarence Bleakley III, age 59, of Salem, died at 10:55 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 in the emergency room of the Salem Community Hospital. He was born April 28, 1954 in Salem, the son of Violet (Skinner) Bleakley and the late John C. Bleakley Jr. John was a 1973 graduate of Salem High School and employed at Lincoln Machine for the past 15 years. He had previously worked at National Rubber and the former Warren Molded Custom Plastics (Ventra). His wife, Jean (Talbert) Bleakley, whom he married August 5, 1995, survives him along with his mother, Violet Bleakley of Salem; a daughter, Julie Beth (Clifford) Mullins of Salem; a stepdaughter, Clarissa Proya of Negley, Ohio; a stepson, Michael Cantrell of Panama City, Florida; a sister, Gail (Art) Bowen of Salem; a brother, Randy (Diane) Bleakley of Salem; three granddaughters, Kylie Mullins, Emily Proya and Elisabeth Proya; and several nieces and nephews.
