BARKHAMSTEDBEHRLE – John Behrle, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Born March 7, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Hogan) Behrle. He was the loving husband of Dorathea “Dee” (Dodd) Redlich for 8 years, together for 30+ years. He proudly served in the US Army. John was employed by Electric Motion Company for many years. In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Chris Redlich and wife Rachel of Winsted, grandchildren, Christopher, Connor, Erik, Joy and Luke, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, many nieces, nephews and friends. John loved fishing and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. He enjoyed growing hot peppers every summer for his famous hot sauce. He had a generous spirit, always ready to give his time to help family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. He was an exceptionally devoted husband, father and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
