John B “Jack” Maloney, 83, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2013 after a short illness. Born into a military family at Raritan Arsenal, NJ, Jack grew up on various Army bases and graduated high school in Berlin, Germany, during the 1948-49 Berlin Blockade.
Upon returning to the U.S., he joined the Navy where he became a ground air controller, serving at Pearl Harbor and Key West.
