John B. “Bert” Donnes II, a 1945 graduate of Jesuit High School and leasing executive, passed away after a brief illness on December 23rd. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Monie Donnes, and is survived by his four sons, John B. Donnes III, Stephen M. Donnes, Alan G. Donnes, and Richard J. Donnes and numerous grandchildren.
“Bert” attended Tulane University and LSU then serving in the US Army before starting a long career in the automotive industry. He was a member of the Seelos Council, Knights of Columbus #2878, St. Edward Association of Men, and the American Legion.
