On Thursday, October 17, 2019, Jack Wolfteich, 89, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded in love by his wife, Helen Glenn. He leaves behind his five children, Kris Wolfteich, Titusville, Fl, Lisa Rutledge, Sugar Land, TX, Carl Wolfteich, Bellevue, WA, John Wolfteich, Cutchogue, NY and Dr. Paula Wolfteich, Huntsville AL, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by Carol, his wife of 43 years, his parents, John and Estelle Wolfteich and younger brother Paul Wolfteich, of Atlantic Beach, NY.
Everyone who knew Jack will remember him in different ways, a writer, a philosopher, a deep thinker who loved a good discussion, whether it be about music, politics, literature or sailing. His legacy to those left behind in the world will be the incredible joy he felt for life and his strong spiritual commitment.
