John Anthony Corsale, 92, of LaSalle, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Margaret’s Health in Peru. Mr. Corsale was born on December 30, 1928 in LaSalle to Nick and Josephine (Catalanello) Corsale. He graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School in 1946. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He married Linda Marie Chemelewski on October 30, 1976.
She passed away November 5, 2004. He worked at Marquette Cement in Oglesby. John also raised and raced pigeons. He is survived by three children, Sophie (Brad) Henderson of Port Charlotte, FL, Linda (Ted Piascyk) Corsale of Peru and John Corsale, Jr. of Port Charlotte, FL; three grandchildren, Jayde Corsale, Alexus Kiefel and Wyatt Henderson and a sister, Phyllis Pytel of LaSalle.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda and a brother, Joseph Corsale.
