John Andrew “Andy” Mortenson, age 59, of Morocco, IN passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Jasper County Hospital.
Andy was born on October 27, 1952 in Chicago, IL to the late John B. and June (Lindholm) Mortenson. Andy was a Naval Veteran of the Vietnam War and a Merchant Mariner. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, long rides on his Harley and had a passion for the arts.
He is survived by his three sons, Peter, Christopher, and John A. Mortenson. His grandchildren, Aria, Hannah, Emma, and Michael. The family would like to thank Yvonne and Ray Peda, Scott Deneau , and Dave Borntragger for defining friendship until the end.
