John Allen Foss, Sr. of New Britain, beloved husband of Betty (Spenard) Foss for forty-one years, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 12th surrounded by his family. Born in New London, he was the son of the late Frederick and Erma (Day) Foss. John lived in Middletown most of his life and in New Britain for the past four years. He was employed at Jarvis Products for over ten years and Bull Metal for thirteen years.
