Parton, John Alan; age 38; died Wednesday, August 13, 2003 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was a resident of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and attended Baylor School and LSU. He was very active in local theater and also in New York. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Ragland Parton. Survived by his father and step mother, Edward L. and Lou Parton, Splendora, TX; sister, Tara Murdaugh, Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jason E. Parton, Chicago, IL; step brothers, Heath West and Brian West; and nephew, Nathan West.
