He was born in Baltimore, MD on October 10, 1921 to the late John R. and Marie Schweiger. Mr. Schweiger served in the US Navy from 1942-1945 and was a WWII Veteran. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Schweiger was a retired cabinet maker for a cabinet company in Odenton. His hobbis included camping, fishing, and playing cards. He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Anna M. Schweiger who passed on September 8, 2012 and his brother Jerome Schweiger. Mr. Schweiger is survived by his son John A. Schweiger, Jr. of Cordova, MD, his daughter Sharon Hasse of Pasadena, his brothers; Gordon Schweiger of Baltimore, William Wilson of Baltimore, James Wilson of Baltimore, and Robert Wilson of FL, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
