Raspe, John Arthur Jr.
On October 17, 2012 John A. Raspe, Jr. passed away, age 91. Mr. Raspe was a W.W. II Army Air Corps Veteran, and lifetime member of American Legion Post 40. He retired in 1985 from his position as a maintenance worker from Harbison Walkers Refactories; he enjoyed working with his hands, especially wood working.
Mr. Raspe was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Langville Raspe and devoted father of Ruth Nusz and husband Darrell, and the late Mary Jane Raspe Jones. He was brother of the late William Raspe and Alice Matthews. Mr. Raspe was blessed with grandchildren Matthew Nusz, Kenny Nusz, and Jerry Liesher II., and 4 great grandchildren.
