John A. Lock, 67, of Lostant, died at 4:43 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008, at St. Margarets Hospital in Spring Valley. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Church, Lostant with the Rev. Luke Poczworowski officiating. He was born February 24, 1941, in LaSalle to Willard E. and Marie F. (Wester) Lock.
He married Carol Cox on April 6, 1966, at St. Johns Church in Lostant. He was a mechanic for BF Goodrich in Henry for over 35 years. He retired in 1998. He was a member of St. Johns Church in Lostant.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Lock of Lostant; his mother, Marie Lock of Lostant;1 daughter, Deanna (Jeffrey) Baker of Utica; 3 sons, John Jeffrey Lock of Fairland, IN, Shawn Thomas Lock of Bellevue, IL and Timothy Allen Lock of Lake Mary, FL; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 brothers, Jim (Linda) Lock of Tonica, Larry (Virginia) Lock of Bloomington, Bob (Nita) Lock of Henry; 1 sister, Sally Mason of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded by his father on May 9, 1999, and 1 brother, Eugene Lock.
