John A. Carrera 82 of Clinton passed away on Dec 12, 2013 at 10:53pm in Union Hospital Clinton. He was born on Aug 27, 1931 in Sandytown to Pete Carrera and Lena Carrera. He was a retired Dairy Famer and custodian at South Vermillion High School. He was a hardworker and loved his job at the school and the kids. He was a avid Cardinal and IU fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia Carrera, sister Mary Ann Bobo and a great grandson Barrett Moore.
He is survived by two sons; Joe & Lori Carrera of Clinton and Terry & Gail Carrera of Clinton and a daughter Joanie & Arnie Jenkins of Clinton. A sister Rosalie Miller of Fort Branch, IN., and six grandchildren; Shawna Moore, Chris Carrera, Bryan Carrera, Catie Cloyd, Angie Riggen and Nathan Carrera and eight great grandchildren. Also, several nieces and nephews.
