Details: Joellen Sturgeon, 65, a 37 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of the Brooklyn Park area died on April 29, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born on January 5, 1948 in New York to the late William and Virginia Voluse. Ms. Sturgeon was a homemaker. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir and was involved in the MS Society. Her hobbies included bowling and crocheting. Mrs. Sturgeon is preceded in death by her son Christopher Sturgeon. She is survived by her son John “Jay” Sturgeon of Pasadena, her brother William C. Voluse of Arnold, and her grandchildren; Sydney G. and Ryder M. Sturgeon.
