Joel Dee Sedgwick, 74, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on March 6, 2018, at the Silverado Memory Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was under the care of Silverado Hospice.
He was born on February 11, 1944, to Daniel Baker Sedgwick and Jennie Elfreda Braithwaite Sedgwick at the family home in Arco, Idaho, where he was raised. He was the last of eight children.
Joel graduated from Butte High School in 1962. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was trained as a mechanic.
