JOEL H. NEWSWANGER, 12, passed away Tuesday evening, July 19, 2016.
Joel was born August 8, 2003, in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania to Glenn and Marian Horning Newswanger. He came to Deming with his family in January of this year and they were establishing their family farm in the Columbus area. Joel enjoyed every day and was very excited about learning to farm in the Southwest. He attended the Sunshine Mennonite Church.
Joel is survived by his parents, Glenn and Marian Newswanger of Columbus; his brothers, Carl H. Newswanger, Michael H. Newswanger, and Merle Newswanger; sisters, Darla Wise (David), Rosa Wenger (Isaac Lamar), Dorcas Weaver (Dale), Carol Newswanger, and Regina Newswanger; his grandparents, Michael and Minnie Horning, and Phares and Katie Newswanger.
