Joel J. Miera 39, went to be with the lord on the night of October 6, 2022. He was born on March 21, 1983 to his proud parents Jose Miera of Monte Vista Co. and Norma Jaramillo of Center Co. Joel had lived in Pueblo nearly his entire life. Joel will be remembered as a kind, caring, stubborn and big-hearted person. He enjoyed being outdoors and being able to go on long walks with his dog Ella and it didn’t matter where they went she was always right by his side. He also enjoyed going to play frisbee golf and play horseshoes at the park with friends and family during his free time. Joel has always had such a huge love for the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching and cheering for them during their games. He also enjoyed watching baseball at times and his favorite baseball team was the Houston Astros and he also enjoyed watching them play. He was such a unique person you’d always know when he’d enter a room, you’d see his big bright smile or hear his loud voice that everyone knew and loved. He was always so full of life and happiness it was impossible to ever ruin his spirit. He has always been an extremely caring and generous person you could always know that he’d have your back to the fullest. As a child Joel played the bongos in his father’s band which he absolutely loved being a part of.  He had also enjoyed being able to spend time and play basketball with his brothers, friends and cousins when he was younger. Joel loved and was loved by many people in his life and everyone who’d been a part of his life was extremely blessed to have been able to experience his love, care, and compassion. Joel is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Miera, Norma Jaramillo and Brother Felix Miera. He is survived by his daughter; Alexandria (Terryle Carter) Miera, Grandchild; Zaralee Carter, siblings; Jennifer Jaramillo (Toby Quintana), Julian (LeeAnn) Jaramillo, Martine Miera (Sonya), and numerous nieces and nephews he will be missed by many close friends as well. Eulogy reading at 9:45 a.m. Friday November 4th, 2022 Mass held immediately after at 10 a.m. at St.
