Joel Dean “J.D.” Price of Suwanee, Georgia, passed away on November 26,
2022. J.D. was born on December 6, 1930, to the late John and Nannie Price in
Nettleton, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, J.D. is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Carol
Ann Price, siblings Orilla Pryor, Bertha Wiley, and Morine Avery, and son-in-law
Jeffrey Rosenberg.
He is survived by his children along with their spouses; Jack (Ann) Price, Coleen
Rosenberg, Cathleen (Tim) Barrett, Cindy (Lance) Byford, and Karen (Mike)
Simpson. He is also survived by his sister Franceline Trotter and a multitude of
grandchildren including Melissa, Ryan, April, Tava, Wade, Jonathan, Joseph,
Grace, Grant, Bradley, Catherine, Addison, and Gavin. J.D. is also survived by
numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
J.D. proudly served his country during the Korean War as a member of the Air
Force where he performed Tactical Aircraft Maintenance on F94-C fighters. After
leaving the Air Force J.D. pursued an Accounting Degree which led to a long and
successful career in the industrial sewing business. He was a loving and
supportive husband, father, and grandfather who was known for his wit and
humor.
